This is a costume inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia, and some elements from this project. The sword is wood I carved and covered in aluminium foil, plus glue-gun & string designs and gold easter egg wrapping, a bit of material and two toothbrushes. The sheath is papier-mâché covered in leather (an old handbag), as is the armour.

Totally awesome. I love the whole thing and making the sword out of wood to start with is a good idea too.
