We made another batch of wands. This time we made the wands like usual then painted them with glue and water, wrapped a single ply of toilet paper around them and painted them with the glue and water again. They look alot more like wood and I think they will be alot stronger. Mine is on top, Dylan age 5 second, and Dawson age 11 on bottom.

Going to have to figure out how to make wands that are a bit more sturdy the red one is already all bent up and has tape in a couple spots.

You could put a chop stick down inside it but then it would be dangerous for little kids. Why not roll up another bit of paper, even tighter than the first bit and stuff that down inside with some white glue. That makes it really solid and yet it's not dangerous.
